On day 22 of the 30 Day Challenge, Dan Raine focused on testing and tracking. He stated that, “Apart from good-quality market research, tracking is the single most important thing you should do as an internet marketer.” The difference between making money in internet marketing and earning an income in internet marketing is good quality tracking. Tracking shows you how well you are doing and is an early warning system.

We started with market research. Next, we used our selected keywords to test. We have to make sure there’s traffic for our keyword(s) or we will be wasting our time. The power of the 30 Day Challenge method “lives or dies on keyword selection.”

Day 20 of the 30 Day Challenge focused on ethical social bookmarking. At the outset, Ed Dale established that social bookmarking and social posting are analogous to a bank account. When you bookmark someone else’s content (which should be something you genuinely like) you are making a deposit. Then, when you bookmark your own content, you make a withdrawal. And there’s nothing wrong with bookmarking your own content. Many professional bloggers socially bookmark their articles.

Days 18 & 19 of 30 Day Challenge – Google Ranking

Days 18 & 19 of the 30 Day Challenge were catchup days. However, Ed Dale, Rob Somerville and Dan Raines joined for a call to discuss Google ranking. It has been their experience that, once launched, sites rank within 24 hours to a week. For the 30 Day Challenge, 72 hours was the official expected ranking time.
