Day 2 of the 30 Day Challenge included the unveiling of Market Samurai, a market research tool. This is a free tool available for a limited time to 30 Day Challengers. It incorporates data from Google’s keyword tool as well as a competitive and commerciality analysis.

Upon first blush, Market Samurai appears to be an internet marketer’s dream come true for effective and efficient market research. It certainly beats the manual process from last year, although we were appropriately warned not to completely dismiss the manual process. Market Samurai is in beta and there still may be some kinks to work out during the challenge.

I was able to complete my first search using the tool and am quite happy with the results. The data compilation is a bit slower than I’d like but it again beats the manual process. My plan for this year’s challenge is to revitalize an existing site (okay an unfinished project) and make it profitable. I’m banking on Market Samurai to help make this a reality.
